Posts with comments disabled will be deleted (as per the rules of this comm). This is expecially true if they are posts by people who come into a community simply to troll and insult the members (and in rather a hypocritical fashion, might I add, considering the compression on your last usericon).
This is a community for book icons. This is not a ratings community, a "we only accept you if you can jump through hoops for us" icon community, or a place where people come to be insulted. It is just a place to post book icons, and if you feel the inexplicable need to critique something, be constructive about it.
And if you're a coward and keep deleting your inflammatory posts and disabling comments, then I guess that's what the ban tool was made for.
edit: and I just said the exact same thing as Connie :)

In the LJ FAQ one finds the following question. I'm including with it part of the answer:

We do still enforce the no disabling comments rule in that case, yes.

If your entry is ontopic and not trollish, and you disabled comments, I'd just comment in your journal and tell you to enable them*. However, if you *consistently* disable comments, then I'd probably resort to deleting-on-sight. If you want people to comment elsewhere, the best way to do that is to just add a link to your journal.
*Jazzy might not. Jazzy's usually nicer than I am, though, so who knows?
