The holidays seem to inspire me.

Six icons here, all quite varied: two Good Omens, three random fairy stories, and one Robin McKinley.

Also, I'm finally being forced into admitting a tiny, tiny defeat. I can't work out how to animate icons using photoshop/Imageready. I know I have the programs, I just can't use them... aid?

this community: [livejournal.com profile] icon_tutorial can never be pimped enough :-)
it's a very good place for learning; look in the memories section, they are sorted by program and effects and I know there are already tutorials on animating.

I second that. I tried making animated icons in Photoshop and Image Ready countless times and just could not figure it out. Then I found that community and made an animated icon that same night with the help of one of the tutorials.
