To do it well it would need a good director and a massive massive budget and completely apart from that I don't think they could do it for theaters without toning down quite a lot of things. If they didn't tone things down and kept it like the book it might end up turning out like some sort of porn movie. I don't think they could show accurately portray the emotions behind certain *cough* *cough* events. Not good. Too many problems. Although if it was done right it could be completely breathtaking. But no, best to keep to books.

I love the books,but I prefer staying out of the Kushiel fandom myself.It personally drives me insane.
