How good is the new Hilari Bell book?
Apr. 30th, 2005 07:02 pmWell, Tamora Pierce (possibly not really her) gave it a rave review.
I'm sure you're all wondering who on earth Hilari Bell is. Hilari Bell is the author of one of my all-time favorite bokos. Hilari Bell is the person who is only beaten by John Marsden and H. M. Hoover (another obscure name!) in my love.
She's got a website, kinda. That's possibly her real flaw - her lack of a real website. Oh, and a crazy fandom.
I want an icon. I like this Matter of Profit cover a bit, or this one, though they're neither of them that great. Or I could take an icon from either book in her Farsala trilogy - the two books out have their covers here and here. (I prefered the first cover, but the second book.
Please. I implore thee!
(I'd also love H. M. Hoover and John Marsden icons, but I figure I should limit myself to one author per request)
Edit: Despite the loads of comments, nobody has made me an icon. I'm not complaining (hey, as long as I'm convincing people to read these books, I'm happy), but, please don't take the large comment count as an indication that I don't need an icon.
