I'm just interrupting the normal flow of icon-posts for a question, and a request (yes, I'm on topic!)
The question is this: Since the icons in this community all seem to be from books I like, it seems like everyone posting icons has the exact same taste in books as I do. That's not surprising, considering I mostly advertised when I joined communities based on books I like, but it does make me feel vaguely guilty/overbearing. This is BOOK icons, not books-I-like icons. I'd like to expand the variety somewhat, maybe have some icons posted from books I haven't read... But I thought I'd run this past everyone else before going hogwild and asking the owners of other book-related communities if I can advertise there. I really don't want to do this and then hear "this place was better before all these books I can't stand were here" or "wow, now we're swamped with icons!" or something like that. Um, to recap: Is this okay?
And the request:
All the book-buying for my niece and nephew (one year old!) has started a wave of nostalgia. Does anybody have any "very hungry caterpillar" icons? Or maybe amelia bedelia?
Thank you for reading, especially the part at the beginning which is really long and kinda run-on.
