So, more icons, I hope you like them, take any you want, if you do it'd be nice if you told me which you like, so I can improve future icon making (and also what you don't like, constructive criticism is always good). However, it's nothing is compulsory except no hot-linking.

This will be the last set of Old Kingdom icons I'm making for this batch, I'm now making icons for The Wind Singer Trilogy, The Dark Flight Down and The Book of Dead Days by Marcus Sedgewick and for World War One poetry. So, you might not see me for a while, but I'll be back next time I decide to make Sabriel icons. Thanks. xxx.

World War I poetry? British poets? I can't wait to see those.

Did you ever read Sassoon's trilogy Memoirs of a Fox-hunting Man, Memoirs of an Infantry Officer, and Sherston's Progress?

Oh! *beams* Lovely icons! There are simply not enough Old Kingdom ones out there.

I'm looking forward to your next batch. :)

Sorry for two comments, but I do not wish to look like an anonymous stalker because of a mistake my computer made.

These are cool, although I'm not taking any because I'm not an enthusiast of the books they're about [no offense]!

Just a suggestion, I'm not sure what image editing programme you use but MS Paint tends to have a pixilating effect on icons that are made in it once they are saved, so it's better to use something else [you can get a free 30 day download of Adobe Photoshop off their website I think - I use Corel PhotoPaint because it happens to be on my computer]. Also, saving the icons as .png rather that .jpg also results in a better quality graphic.

I really like the idea in the lightning icon, and in the last icon.

[Hope that's not rude, I just thought I'd share some things I've learnt as an icon maker...?]

Oh, and you'll probably know this but several graphics journals have tutorials attached, which are quite helpful for learning new things or getting ideas for styles.

Not taking any. But i love these books and the icons are cool. I think my favorite is the first one.
I like the idea for the bell one but it make it very cluttered and hard to read. But when isaw those I was like. Neat idea!
Good Job.
Keep makin'

I love the bells that twist and bite, icon. Actually, I just generally love all the bell icons. Though I like the blue toned graduated bell picture and kind of wish you had that one without emphasizing one of the bells over the others.
