Who is the individual - actually?
I am a HUGE Lord Peter Wimsey fan.

His name is Maurice Roy Ridley, and Sayers saw him recite a poem when she was a young woman. After she had written several of the Lord Peter books, she saw him again and remarked that he was the exact physical likeness of Lord Peter. Apparently, she didn't remember seeing him speak so many years ago, and in fact was supposedly a little miffed that he made a point of telling people about the resemblance. The Barbara Reynolds bio of Sayers has the whole story, along with pictures.
