I've been browsing through this site, and I've found some fantastic icons here. Can we post requests here? (I read the rules and I'm not sure. If not, go ahead and delete this.)

I'd adore some icons with Dorothy Parker quotes. (I can supply plenty of quotes if necessary.) Can anyone oblige me?

Dorothy Parker is one of my favorite authors/wits. I'd be glad to try my hand at some icons. If you have particular quotes you'd like used, just let me know.

Oh, Dorothy Parker is wonderful. I adore her. I'm so glad she's got some otehr fans here too. :)

Hmmm... let me compile a few favorites for inspiration. (BTW, I've found a lot of these through Think Exist Quotations (http://en.thinkexist.com/), which is a pretty good place to find quotes.) In no order of preference:

There are so many possibilities... they could be just the quotes, or quotes overlayed with images of her (although that may be hard to find). I imagine them as quotes overlaying images relevant to the quote.

Why do I think it was Doris Day who said, "Men don't make passes at girls who wear glasses," and Dorothy Parker who said, "Men who don't make passes at girls who wear glasses are asses."

I'm pretty sure the original quote was Dorothy's... it's always credited to her. (All my books are packed up at the moment or I could go and confirm!) Plus, Dorothy Parker was already being published at least a decade (if not more) before Doris Day was even born.
