Thank you! I love that quote--it's just so perfect. :-) I guess my favorite books are The Kindly Ones (although I don't like the artwork as much) and The Wake, although it always makes me cry. And I love the "The Tempest." Brief Lives is marvelous too. I love the section when Dream is falling apart, so Delirium has to be coherent and functional and she tells him how hard it is for her and can he get his act together. :-)

Thank you! That story was one of the first ones I read. A student of mine thought the Sandman would be perfect for an academic book I was working on (and it was), and he lent me that book, and I was hooked instantly and forever. :-) As I said, Neil really *gets* cats. :-)

Thank you! I think Joss and Neil are gods b/c they just get so much of life *right*. So there are a lot of quotes from the Sandman that apply really well to BTVS/ATS *and* BSG.
