Jan. 16th, 2006 12:13 amHello! First time poster, so go easy on me. ^_^ This is mostly me playing around with book covers, and there're a few variations on themes, but there're a few randoms in there too.
[6] 'Arthur & George' by Julian Barnes
[3] 'The History Of Love' by Nicole Krauss
[5] Neil Gaiman & Dave McKean
[3] Lemony Snicket
[4] random book cover detail
[1] 'Not Now, Bernard' by David McKee
Samples:

'Arthur & George' by Julian Barnes

There is more difference between the first two than the pixel-wide border, btw. The second one is cleaned up, the first one is left with the textured effect of the actual book. ^_^ I love my hardback, but the colouring of the paperback lent itself so much more to iconing. o_O
'The History Of Love' by Nicole Krauss

Neil Gaiman & Dave McKean

Lemony Snicket

Random book cover detail

These would be 'The Conjuror's Bird' by Martin Davies, 'Jonathan Strange & Mr Norrell' by Susanna Clarke, and 'Stardust' by Neil Gaiman (I really liked the way it looked when I negative-d it, so I shoved that in as well XD). If you were wondering. ^_^
'Not Now, Bernard' by David McKee

If you do feel moved to take any, thenthank you soso much! please comment, and make sure to credit in keywords. The icons without any text are designed just to be blanks, but you can use them as bases if you feel the need. Just let me see what you've done with them after! ^_^
