Tam Lin Icons
Jan. 26th, 2006 05:01 pmDear all,
I fear I may be skirting the rules: Tam Lin was originally not a book, but a ballad. There have, however, been at least two novelized retellings of the story: Tam Lin by Pamela Dean and An Earthly Knight by Janet McNaughton (links lead to my review of each book).
The text for these icons has been taken from the Fairport Convention and the Medieaval Baebes versions of the ballad.

Date: 2006-01-27 12:33 am (UTC)Funny that someone named Janet would write a book based on Tam Lin. Also, kudos for the Mediaeval Baebes lyrics; this icon uses their version of "Scarborough Fair."

Best wishes,
Cate

I hope you liked An Earthly Knight. I'm very fond of it myself.
