[identity profile] hsavinien.livejournal.com posting in [community profile] book_icons

V for Vendetta icons, as well as some others (see Subject line) that I made this week. Credit please and don't hotlink. Comments are appreciated. Warning for mild spoilers for the end of the V for Vendetta movie behind the link. Textless icons are not bases--all V photos may be found at the official movie website or imdb.

23 icons in all.

Yes, I've made the newly-worded 'defiance' icon, as requested.

Examples:

I haven't.  If someone would explain fake lj cuts to me, I would appreciate it immensely.

from what I know, "fake cut" is a joke. slitting wrists is commonly known as "cutting", and since none of the lj-cuts are real cuts, they're considered "fake cuts". at least, this is what i've perceived.

Um *grin* That would actually be funnier, but no. Fake cuts are links dressed up to look like lj-cuts either deliberately to trick people into following a link to another journal or... just because it's the fashion. :P

OP - fake cuts are totally not necessary, btw; you can just link to your entry, really.

Sure, I totally sympathise. :) Seriously, as long as you haven't got ten or twenty icons outside the cut or link, nobody minds what you do.

I like the way you've managed the color on this batch and polished up the icons. Thanks for doing the rewording! It looks lovely with the retouching and I'll be sure to credit. I'm also snagging both the "banned books" icons (the first is especially nice); the "Dai Stiho" (I was very happy to see it because I love both the phrase and the layout); the "plib," and "so long and thanks." The fandoms represented are interesting and your icon style really appeals to me. Nice work!
