I obviously can't see them yet, but for The Slippery Slope image quality, I assume it's from the book... I'd try it's Read This Book! entry (http://www.amazon.com/gp/reader/0064410137/ref=sib_dp_pt/103-6898285-2117445#reader-link) at amazon.com- it has a lovely close up of the cover. But, since I don't actually know what the icon looks like, I'm shooting in the dark. >__>

And the problem wasn't with the scanner; the scanner's great. Something happened when I got the image into Photoshop, and I was too lazy to re-scan.

Buy it, if the library doesn't have it. That's what I had to do with Wyrd Sisters. Of course, it did take me many many months, on account of it was never actually in stores, and I always spent my money on something else instead of reserving a copy, until just now.

And I don't think there's anything *too* spoiler-ish in my icons . . .
