Just to make sure everybody's clear on this, I post things like "should we do this" because I don't want to arbitrarily make rules. This is a very easy community to run, and I feel like I'm not doing my job because of it, so I want to occasionally make sure the rules are acceptable for everyone. If something happens that I'm not too happy about, I want to see if other people agree. If I'm alone, or nearly, I'm not going to do anything because it's Not My Community. It is YOUR community. Make sense?

I really hope so. I'm not feeling very coherant.

Hey if there are no problems or issues just leave things be. Rules arene't always needed.

No, they're not, but I still feel guilty for not having to DO anything other than add posts to memories. There was ONE tiny bit of proto-drama when I first made the comm. There have been TWO ads, which were dealt with quickly.

I should be grateful, but I'm not. I just feel like I'm not doing any work!

Seeing as this is a very successful community, and I certainly don't have any complaints after several months, you're doing fine. If it ain't broke, don't fix it.

You doing little work means it's well set up, and I think the subject somehow draws thoughtful and considerate (mature) people. So there are not a lot of spammers or problems here.

Since you're doing so well, maybe start another community: the book cafe, where you discuss your favorite literature. Just a thought, hope I didn't flatter you too much. :D

Really? Shows how much I read. I'd just seen someone's "coffee shop" journal where they were discussing world events, (or trying to,)& it made me think of that.
