Sabriel News (plus some icons)

I know that this post doesn't have any icons. However. I wanted to share this news with you guys anyways, and I hope that is ok. Because it's book related.

Garth Nix has made a recent announcement concerning a film adaptation of Sabriel. I, too recommend the series highly. It's one of my favorites. :) I hope they don't botch up the movie, but I've been wondering if they were going to bring one out. :)

I think that because Garth Nix is going to co-write the screenplay it should work out to do the book justice! As much as a movie is expected to, if you know what I mean.

I think I seriously stopped breathing at first, when I read this. It was so... truely it was an indescribable moment. ^.^

You know, it's not really okay.

There are approximately 20 zillion (real number!) book communities on LiveJournal. There are at least one or two comms devoted to Garth Nix. There's I don't even know how many about movies in general, and fantasy movies, and whatnot.

This is a community for book icons, not for news. You didn't even have the common courtesy to stop and ask a maintainer (we're clearly listed on the info) if this was okay - which would have made my mood a lot better, trust me.

Now, me, I'm nice. Edit your post, add an icon or a request for an icon, and I'll pretend this whole thing never happened. And next time you want to post off-topic - just ask first. I'll probably say fine, so long as there's some form of gratuitous icon-related material. If you ask.
