I obviously lead a very sad life as I find icon making addictive and exciting. Oh well. In this batch, I got very focused on fairy tales and my fave books as a kid which were featured on Reading Rainbow. Oh well. I'm probably burnt out on icons now.

It took me so long to join here and post! I have... A lot of book icons, to say the least. ;)

I took the icons down to re-do several and eventually repost them, so don't worry if you can see them - they don't exist anymore. >__> I'll post them in the comm whenever they get done. ^__^

Whatever doesn't have text counts as a base, and you're free to customize those as you wish; take them, do whatever you want with them. :) Everything else, I'd appreciate credit, but it's not totally necessary. Use your judgement, I guess. If you'd like the base picture I used to make a lot of these (the book covers, that is), I have those saved and can upload them on request so you can save them yourself and work with them too. Just ask! Thanks!

[edit] I don't know if Friends-Only banners are particularly welcome here, but I have three Series of Unfortunate Events banners, so I'll stick 'em under another cut... ( friends-only banners )

Hi everyone, this is a great community because I love books and I love icons!
Anyway, I don't know how to make icons, but I have a few requests. I adore fantasy so if anyone could make some icons from the following fantasy books, I'd be very appreciative. :)

-More 'Mists of Avalon'!!! I adore the book, but wasn't too fond of the movie, so if someone could make icons with images from the cover, that'd be great. :)
-The Symphony of Ages series by Elizabeth Haydon (Rhapsody, Prophecy, Destiny)
-More 'Song of the Lioness' by Tamora Pierce. :)
-Any Guenevere/King Arthur icons you can make from the millions of fiction books based on them.
-Any fantasy books in general made into icons.
